Membership

Members of the European Blood Alliance:

• • are the national blood service or an alliance of blood services that represents the majority of blood establishments in the country;
  • have their main activities based in a member of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the European Free Trade Area;
  • base their activities on the principle of voluntary and unpaid donation of blood and blood components, without any form of profit
  • focus on the public interest

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Romania and Ukraine are EBA Candidate members.                                                                          America’s Blood Centers (ABC) is an observer member of the EBA.
