Medical Affairs Working Group

The Medical Affairs Working Group brings together EBA medical leaders to exchange practice, compare approaches and discuss emerging issues in transfusion medicine. Its focus is on the medical questions that shape blood services day to day, from blood quality and safety to new developments in practice, guidance and policy.

The group supports regular exchange between medical directors and other medical leads across EBA members, helping them benchmark decisions, share recommendations and respond to common challenges. It also works with other EBA working groups on issues linked to blood quality, safety and efficacy, and contributes to EBA papers and positions on topics that need a shared perspective.
