EU Projects
EBA is furthering its strategic goals of contributing to the availability, quality, safety and cost-effectiveness of the blood and tissue supply for the citizens of Europe by developing and maintaining an efficient and strong collaboration amongst European blood and tissue services and increasing public and professional awareness of voluntary and non-remunerated donation (VNRD) of blood and blood components, and of preparation of blood components as an indispensable therapeutic means to help patients by leading and being part in EU Projects.
There are two EU projects, SUPPLY and SUPPORT-E, where EBA has taken the lead as Project Coordinator.
Currently, EBA participates in GAPP-PRO (Piloting GAPP model approach for assessing and authorizing novel substances of human origin preparation PROcess) project.
In the EGALITE project, EBA participated as an Associated Partner.
