European Blood Alliance is delighted to announce that registration are open to the annual EBA Benchmarking Workshop, supported by the EBA Benchmarking Working Group. The event is set to take place on the 16th and 17th of October 2024, at the Mövenpick Hotel Berlin and is kindly hosted by our members the German Red Cross.

This annual workshop is an invaluable opportunity for blood services professionals across Europe to share experiences, explore innovative practices, and collectively address the challenges of our ever-evolving industry. This year, our focus is on “Leveraging Data and Innovation for Resilient Blood Supply Chains” – a critical topic for all our members.

Programme Highlights

Our carefully curated agenda is designed to provide insightful discussions and engaging workshops covering vital topics such as:

• Optimal Donation Locations: Learn how geomatics can be utilized to select effective donation sites.
• 2023-24 EBA Benchmarking Scorecard: Be the first to discover the latest updates and provide input on future improvements.
• EDQM Harmonisation of Data: Understand the implications of data standardization across Europe.
• Keynote Session: “Resilient Supply Chains of the Future” presented by Deloitte
• Interactive Workshops: Participate in hands-on exercises to share insights, propose improvements, and determine the necessary steps for future benchmarking efforts.

Interactive case studies from fellow European countries and engaging group discussions will ensure rich learning opportunities for all attendees.

Blood Establishment visit

You will have the opportunity to visit German Red Cross Blood Establishment including: Blood donor centre and Sales & distribution centre, before the workshop starts. If you would like to take part, please indicate this in the registration form.

Please note that registration for this event is open exclusively to EBA members. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this unique opportunity to connect with colleagues across Europe and contribute to shared learning.

Registration fees: The registration fee includes full attendance to the Workshop, coffee breaks and lunch on the two days and dinner on 16 October evening. The fee for this workshop is €139.
