EBA Benchmarking Workshop 2026

Innovation without Compromise

The 2026 EBA Benchmarking Workshop will bring together colleagues from blood establishments across Europe to explore how innovation can strengthen blood supply systems without compromising quality.

Hosted by the Welsh Blood Service, the workshop will focus on practical examples and shared learning in areas including targeted donor approaches, blood supply logistics and transportation, supply resilience, quality measurement and the continued development of the EBA Benchmarking Scorecard.

Through case studies, interactive discussions and peer exchange, participants will have the opportunity to compare approaches, identify transferable practices and contribute to future benchmarking priorities across the EBA community.

The programme will also include an optional visit to the Welsh Blood Service blood establishment, as well as a networking dinner and tour at Cardiff Castle.

The workshop will take place at the Clayton Hotel Cardiff. Further programme and registration information will be published shortly.
