SUPPORT-E Report Brochure: COVID-19 Convalescent Plasma in Europe

This SUPPORT-E project report presents progress on improving the clinical evaluation of COVID-19 convalescent plasma (CCP) across Europe. It covers clinical trials, the EU-CCP Database, plasma antibody testing, health economics and the development of evidence-based recommendations. Key achievements include the launch of the COVIC-19 clinical trial for vulnerable patients, the creation of a reference panel of 23 plasma samples to support standardised antibody testing across 25 laboratories, and the collection of data on CCP donations and patients. The report also highlights European collaboration and strategies to improve plasma collection, treatment evaluation and preparedness for future pandemics.
