EBA Executive Director

EBA is pleased to inform that Ms. Catherine Hartmann has been appointed as new EBA Executive Director. Ms. Hartmann brings to the EBA a wealth of knowledge on association management and governance, EU health policies and advocacy. Together with the extensive knowledge on the field that resides within the EBA membership, we believe that EBA now has a very strong combination of in depth knowledge and how to bring that to the forefront.
She will work alongside current Executive Director Kari Aranko up to the EBA Board Meeting in October, after which she will be in the lead of the EBA office. Dr. Aranko will move back to his home country Finland and to his former employer, the Finnish Red Cross Blood Service.
