EBA 20th anniversary symposium

On 12 April 2018, the European Blood Alliance (EBA) will celebrate its 20th anniversary: a mini-symposium is organised around the theme ‘future challenges for the sustainability of the blood supply’ and will feature presentations by EBA’s first president Prof. Juhani Leikola and the President of Établissement Français du Sang, François Toujas. The meeting will take place in Helsinki, where also EBA’s first meeting took place on 21 September 2018. After the event, a video will be published as a tribute to all patients whose lives were saved with blood products.
