The European Blood Alliance will hold a virtual webinar: Blood is Priceless: the future of EU Blood, directives, perspectives from the European Establishments on the 25th of May 2021, from 12.30 to 14.00
The event is an open roundtable discussion, co-hosted by MEP Frédérique Ries, MEP Tilly Metz, MEP Roberta Metsola and will feature patients and donors who will share their experiences, together with not-for-profit blood establishments representatives who will highlight the importance of blood and blood components in healthcare.
At the event, speakers, including Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) will exchange views with the audience on the opportunities and challenges brought about by the revision of the Blood Directives and draw recommendations for the future Blood legislation.
EBA will also launch its position paper “A sustainable blood and blood components provision in the EU” at the event.
